When you think about Western rappers collaborating with K-Pop groups, Megan Thee Stallion may not be the first person that comes to mind, but she is becoming one of the most popular choices.
Megan first collaborated with BTS for the remix of their song “Butter” in 2021 and in return had RM of BTS feature on her song “Neva Play,” which came out in October of 2024.
A remix of her hit song, “Mamushi,” featuring Twice, can be found on Megan: Act II, which was released on October 25, 2024. It only makes sense that they return the favor and have her on one of their songs, which brings us to their newest release, “Strategy.”
“Strategy” is a high-energy song about the actions they will take to attract the attention of their love interest. While the production is very pop-centric, Megan’s rap verse is seamless and is a nice addition before the beat switches to a more hip-hop style.
