Jin of BTS has announced the release of his second solo album, Echo. The album contains seven tracks and comes out on May 16, 2025.
It’s only been five months since Jin’s last release, Happy, in November of 2024, and fans are excited to hear more from him!
Jin’s promotional schedule will last around a month. The highlight medley comes out on May 11, 2025, and then it’s release week! The album and main music video will be teased throughout release week until everything becomes public on May 16, 2025. There are a few surprises that will come throughout the next month as well.
There will be a total of three physical album versions and one digital version, and the album is available to preorder right now. The physical albums include a box, photobook, postcard, lyric book, CD tray, CD, envelope, two sticker packs, and two photocards. The digital album includes a box, message card, postcard book, lyric sheet, QR card, user guide, pin board, pin badge, and photocard.
The tracklist for Echo is already out, and just like with his last album, Happy, this album only has one featured artist, YENA. The first song on the list, “Don’t Say You Love Me,” is the title track. In this song, Jin speaks about still loving someone even when the relationship is over. This album seems to be about relationships based on the other song titles.
In a move that no one was expecting, Jin announced that he is going on tour—making him the third BTS member to have a solo world tour. Jin’s tour starts in Goyang, South Korea, on June 28, and ends in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, on August 10. The North American part of the tour begins in Anaheim, CA, on July 17, and ends in Newark, NJ, on July 31.
BTS will return as a full group in a few months, but since their discharge from the military, Jin and J-Hope have done an incredible job creating content for and interacting with the fans. We’re so excited to hear Jin’s new album and see him embark on his first solo tour!
